Hill & Hollow Campground & RV Park is nestled in the wooded dunes just 2 miles north of the Village of Pentwater, Michigan. Since 1984 our family owned and operated park has been the perfect place to reconnect with family, friends and with the natural beauty of western Michigan.
Platte River Campground is located in the southern district of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, on the lower peninsula of Michigan. This year-round facility is one of the most popular campgrounds in the park. It is within walking distance of the Platte River and a short walk or drive away from the Lake Michigan shore. Hikers can access many of the area's day use and backpacking trails just north of the campground. Summer temperatures range from the upper 70s to 90s during the day and 50s to 70s at night. Winters are cold, with daytime highs in the 20s to 30s and lows in the 10s and 20s; snow is usually on the ground from late November through March.
Located in Muskegon, the park is situated on 3 miles of stunning Lake Michigan shoreline and features a modern campground, towering dunes, 10 miles of scenic trails and the Gillette Sand Dune Visitor Center.
Charles Mears State Park is located in the quaint village of Pentwater along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Paved campsite lots are surrounded by fine sand and a swimming beach is adjacent to the harbor pier.
The park is home to three campgrounds, sandy beaches, scenic sand dunes, an iconic lighthouse, wetlands, marshlands and forests. It is situated between Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan, with several miles of beautiful shoreline along both lakes.
Orchard Beach State Park is situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. A stairway leads from the campground to the beach and self-guided hiking trails are adjacent to the park.
Take US-31 to M-110 turn north and go one and and half miles to park entrance.
Want to go camping but don't own a tent or RV or want to pack a little lighter? There are many overnight lodging options available in state parks and recreation areas from cabins, yurts and safari-style tents to lodges and cottages with many of the amenities of home. There are pop-up campers, cottages and tepees too!
